PROCESS

Porcelain veneers require several steps.

• Preparation – preparation of the natural tooth must be done. A thin portion of the enamel on the front of the tooth is removed. This gives the restoration a foundation without adding unnecessary bulk.

• Molds – impressions of the prepared teeth are completed. They allow the ceramist to create restorations that fit precisely over the teeth.

• Fabrication – a ceramist at a dental laboratory uses the impressions of the teeth to create porcelain veneers for coverage.

• Bonding – once the veneers are complete, they are sent to the dental office and Dr. Christopher Lim will bond the new restorations onto the teeth. Patients leave the practice with a new look and improved confidence.
